"lying" in Bengali
মিথ্যা বলাশোয়া
Definition
কিছু সত্য নয় এমন কথা বলা বা কিছু সত্য নয় এমন কিছু করা, অথবা সোজা হয়ে শোয়া বা বিশ্রাম নেয়া।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'lying down' মানে শোয়া, আর 'lying about' অর্থ মিথ্যা কথা বলা। 'laying' (কিছু রাখার অর্থে ব্যবহার হয়) - এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।

সে বিছানায় **শুয়ে** বই পড়ছে।
She was lying to her friend about the test.
সে তার বন্ধুকে পরীক্ষার ব্যাপারে **মিথ্যা বলছিল**।
