লোম মানে বাড়ির ছাদে থাকা সেই চিমনি, যা দিয়ে আগুনের ধোঁয়া বাইরে বের হয়।

‘lum’ প্রধানত স্কটল্যান্ডে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ ব্রিটিশ বা আমেরিকান ইংরেজিতে 'chimney' সাধারণত ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাহিত্য, গান ও প্রবাদে শব্দটি শোনা যেতে পারে।
