非常に孤独で見捨てられたと感じる状態。詩や文学的な表現で使われることが多い。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ごく稀で詩的な単語。「forlorn」という形で見かけることが多く、日常会話では使わない。強い感情を表現する時に使われる。
