Definition

もともとは川に丸太が詰まって流れが止まることを指しますが、実際には多くの問題や対立で進展が止まる状況を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に比喩的に使う言葉。ビジネスや政治、問題解決の場面でよく登場します。「break the logjam」は「行き詰まりを打破する」という意味。交通渋滞には使用しません。
