Definition
Inicialmente, um congestionamento num rio causado por troncos; figurativamente, é uma situação em que o progresso para devido a muitos problemas ou obstáculos.

Usado sobretudo de forma figurativa, sobre impasses em negócios, política ou resolução de problemas. 'Break the logjam' significa desbloquear a situação. Não se utiliza para o trânsito.
