'Lock in on' はカジュアルな表現で、特定対象への強い集中や注目を意味します。スポーツや監視、思考などで使われます。ほかのことに気を取られない意味合いも持ちます。「lock up」（閉じ込める）や「lock」（鍵をかける）とは異なります。
