줄을 서다

Definition

다른 사람들과 함께 서비스, 티켓, 행사 등을 기다리기 위해 줄을 서는 것.

일상에서 자주 쓰이며, 뒤에 목적을 붙여 '티켓 줄을 서다', '음식 줄을 서다'처럼 말함. 영국영어에는 'queue'가 사용됨.

People line up for the subway every morning.

사람들은 매일 아침 지하철을 타려고 **줄을 선다**.
