"lightning" in Spanish
Definition
Un destello brillante de electricidad en el cielo durante una tormenta. Ocurre muy rápido y a menudo va seguido de un trueno.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Normalmente es incontable en frases generales: 'There was a lot of lightning'. Para un caso visible, se dice 'a flash of lightning'. No lo confundas con 'lightening', que significa hacer algo más claro o más ligero.
