Definition

누군가에게 일부러 사실이 아닌 말을 하다. 보통 속이기 위해 사용됨.

'Lie to'는 반드시 대상이 필요. 그냥 'lie'만 쓰면 '눕다'의 뜻이 될 수 있으니 주의. 주로 'lie to your friend'처럼 사용.

Please don't lie to your teacher.

선생님에게 **거짓말하지** 마세요.
