Definition

何かのプロセスを始めてから完了するまでの期間。特に注文してから商品やサービスを受け取るまでの時間を指す。

主にビジネスや製造、物流で使われるフォーマルな表現。「リードタイム短縮」「予想リードタイム」などの形で用いる。締め切りの意味ではない。

The lead time for this product is two weeks.

この製品の**リードタイム**は2週間です。

We want to reduce the lead time for orders.

注文の**リードタイム**を短縮したいです。
