예상치 못하게 사람이나 사물을 직접 눈으로 보았을 때 쓰이는 표현입니다. 정말로 그 자리에 있었다는 뜻입니다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
예상치 못하게 실제로 만났다는 의미로, 구어체에서 주로 사용됨. 'there she was, large as life'와 같이 쓰임. 크기와 상관없이 실제로 그곳에 있음을 강조할 때 사용.
