아직 때가 아닌데 너무 서두르거나 조급해서 무언가를 하는 것.

비공식적 상황에서 쓰이며, ‘Don’t jump the gun’처럼 상대방에게 조급하게 행동하지 말라고 할 때 사용한다. 아주 공식적인 글에서는 피하는 것이 좋다.
