間奏合間

Definition

物語や公演・活動の中の二つの部分の間に挟まる短い時間や出来事。または一時的な休憩を指します。

フォーマルや文学的な場面で使われやすく、お芝居や音楽の合間の短い出来事や時間に使います。'musical interlude'（音楽の間奏）のように使います。'interval'は単なる休憩ですが、'interlude'は具体的な出来事を指します。

There was a short interlude between the acts of the play.

劇の幕の間には短い**間奏**がありました。
