判読したり理解したりできないもの。とても読みにくい文字や意味がわからないメッセージなどに使う。

'ほとんど', '完全に' などとよく一緒に使う。手書き、話し声、謎のコードなどに使われる。'illegible' は文字に限定されるが、'indecipherable' は音やメッセージにも使える。
