전혀조금도

주로 부정문에서 강조할 때 쓰며, '전혀', '조금도'라는 뜻이다. 어떤 일이 전혀 일어나지 않았거나 사실이 아님을 나타낸다.

'not...in the least'는 공식적이거나 글에서 자주 쓰이며, 항상 부정어와 함께 쓴다. 'at all'이나 'not even a little'과 비슷한 의미. 긍정에 강조로 쓰지 않는다.

I'm not tired in the least.

나는 **전혀** 피곤하지 않다.

This test is not difficult in the least.

이 시험은 **전혀** 어렵지 않다.

She wasn't surprised in the least by the news.
