প্রতিযোগিতা, দৌড় বা যেকোনো ব্যাপারে অন্যদের চেয়ে এগিয়ে থাকা বা জয়ী অবস্থানে থাকা বুঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

খেলাধুলা, পরীক্ষার ফল, বা ভোটের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহার করা যায় ('in the lead in the polls' মানে জরিপে শীর্ষে)। সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় ব্যবহৃত হয়, খুব জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ বা অপ্রচলিত নয়।
