Definition

झुंझलाहट या गुस्से में ज़ोर से साँस लेना। कभी-कभी नाराज़गी के साथ बोलने के लिए भी उपयोग होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर यह दिखाने के लिए कि कोई चिढ़ा या अधीर है, आम बोलचाल में इस्तेमाल होता है। 'He huffs' या 'she huffs and puffs' जैसी अंग्रेज़ी वाक्यें मिलती हैं। 'साँस लेना' (sigh) से अलग, इसमें गुस्सा स्पष्ट होता है।
