Definition

スポーツなどで誰かが連続して成功しているときに使われる言葉で、特にバスケなどでシュートがよく決まる状態を指します。

主にバスケなどスポーツで使われ、調子や連勝を強調します。「hot handがある」や「hot handを持つ」の形で使われ、温度とは関係ありません。

She's got the hot hand tonight—she hasn't missed a shot.

今夜は彼女が**ホットハンド**だね。一度もシュートを外していない。
