不斷擊打某物，或在棒球中，依教練指示去擊球。常用來表達重複敲打或接受開始擊打的指令。

“Hit away” 是非正式用語，多出現在運動（尤其是棒球）中，表示教練讓球員可以擊球。日常中可指重複敲打，不指單次強擊。不要和 'hit back'（反擊）混淆。
