عادةً ما يتبعها مكان محدد ('hide in the room')، وتستخدم للأشخاص أو الأشياء. لا تخلطها مع 'hide from' (تجنُّب شخص). تُستخدم كثيراً في القصص والألعاب والمواقف اليومية.
