Definition

কারো কিছু বলার বা করার আগে নিজেকে নিশ্চিত না মনে হলে যে থেমে যাওয়া বা দ্বিধা হয়, সেটিই সংকোচ বা দ্বিধা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

বহুবচন; 'have hesitations', 'show hesitations', 'overcome hesitations' মতো বাক্যাংশে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়ার বা জবাব দেয়ার সময় দ্বিধা বোঝাতে প্রচলিত।
