あちこちところどころ

Definition

物や人がいろいろな場所に分散して存在している様子。またはときどきという意味でも使われます。

日常会話やカジュアルな文章でよく使われます。「あちこち」は場所の意味が強く、「ところどころ」は間隔をあけて散らばっている時や時々にも使われます。

There are books here and there on the table.

テーブルの上に本が**あちこち**にあります。
