henchman 指的是忠誠的支持者，通常協助有權勢的人進行有害或非法行為；常指反派或犯罪分子的助手。

主要用在小說、電影中反派或壞人的助手，幾乎皆為負面含義。複數為 'henchmen'。與 'sidekick'（正面、助手）不同。常見搭配：the villain’s henchmen。
