誰かが何かをすることに必死の場合、危険でも他人の忠告を無視してやり抜こうと強く決意している状態です。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
カジュアルな会話で使われます。「hellbent on ～」の形で、忠告無視ややり過ぎ感を表現します。フォーマルな文章では使いません。
