맞바람역풍

Definition

진행 방향과 반대로 불어 전진을 어렵게 만드는 바람입니다. 목표를 이루는 데 겪는 장애나 어려움도 의미합니다.

주로 기상, 항공, 자전거, 경제/경영에서 '맞바람'이나 어려움을 의미할 때 씁니다. 'tailwind'(뒷바람)와 반대 의미입니다.

The cyclist struggled against a strong headwind.

자전거 타는 사람은 강한 **맞바람**과 싸웠다.
