Possuir, obter ou terminar algo antes de um horário ou prazo específico. Normalmente usado ao falar sobre quando você terá ou concluirá algo.

Muito usado com prazos ou compromissos: 'have it by Friday'. Pode ser um pedido ou instrução: 'Can you have it by tomorrow?' Não se usa para objetos concretos já possuídos, e sim para tarefas, entregas ou obrigações.
