掛け金

Definition

掛け金は、金属製の部品で、扉や箱、門などを南京錠やピンでしっかり閉じるために使います。ヒンジのついたフック状の金具です。

「掛け金」は主に工具や建築の文脈で使われます。「南京錠と掛け金」という言い方が一般的です。「ラッチ」とは違うので注意してください。
