Definition
একটি মজবুত দড়ি বা তার যা জাহাজ বা নৌকায় পাল, পতাকা অথবা ইয়ার্ড তুলতে বা নামাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
শুধুমাত্র নৌবাহিনীক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ দড়ির জন্য নয়; 'flag halyard', 'main halyard' ইত্যাদিতে বেশি দেখা যায়।
