中心を軸にして速く回る、または体をぐるぐる動かすこと。踊ったり興奮したときの動きにも使われる。

主に大きく速い回転や踊りなどの劇的な動きに使います（例：'gyrate wildly'）。日常の小さな動きでは使いません。
