Empezar algo con mucha energía o entusiasmo, o pelear/discutir intensamente con alguien.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Expresión informal; se puede usar tanto para peleas físicas ('los niños se fueron a los golpes') como para esfuerzos enérgicos ('vamos a ello'). En algunos contextos informales puede referirse al sexo, pero el contexto lo aclara. No se usa para acciones rutinarias.
