連絡を受ける知らせを受け取る

Definition

何か大事なニュースや指示などの情報を他の人から受け取ること。誰かに教えられて知る場合が多いです。

フォーマル・インフォーマル両方で使われます。「get the word that/about」の形でよく使います。「spread the word」は“伝える”意味なので混同に注意。

I didn't get the word about the meeting.
