仕事や宿題、支払いなどを期限までに終えず、後で追いつく必要がある状態。

「get behind with」は主にイギリス英語で使われ、宿題や支払いなどに使うカジュアルな表現です。アメリカ英語では「get behind on」もよく使われます。「support（支援する）」の意味の「get behind」とは異なります。

I got behind with my homework during the holidays.
