Expresão informal usada tanto para fugir de algo como para fazer uma pausa ('get away for the weekend'). Muito usada em 'get away with' (safar-se de algo) e 'get away from it all' (escapar ao stress). Não confundir com 'give away' (oferecer ou revelar segredo).
