बिना सीधे कहे कुछ बताना या इशारा करना; इसका अर्थ किसी चीज़ तक पहुँच पाना भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अनौपचारिक; प्रायः 'What are you getting at?' जैसे वाक्यांश में छुपे हुए अर्थ पूछने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। सीधे तौर पर किसी चीज़ तक पहुँचना भी हो सकता है। 'get to' (किसी जगह पहुँचना) से अलग है।
