身体的な力や法律的な権限を使って、相手の意思に反して行うこと。自発的ではなく、強制的に実現される場合に使う。

普通、法律や警察などの公式な場面で使われる（例：“forcible entry”＝強制侵入）。日常会話にはあまり使わない。“forceful”とは性格や発言の強さを表すため意味が異なるので注意。

The police made a forcible entry into the building.

警察は建物に**強制的**に立ち入りました。

A forcible removal was needed to get the protestors out.

抗議者を排除するには**強制的**な撤去が必要だった。
