더 잘할 수 있었던 상황에서 실수하거나 일을 망치는 것. 주로 사소한 실수에 대해 사용됨.

공식적이지 않은 표현으로 공연, 발표, 간단한 일에서의 실수에 자주 사용됨. 예: 'flub a line', 'flub an answer'. 심각한 실패를 의미하지 않음.

He flubbed his lines during the school play.
