Definition

轻快地从一个地方到另一个地方移动，常指像鸟或蝴蝶一样在空中掠过，也可指稍纵即逝的动作。

常见于文学或诗歌，不常用于口语。多用于描写小动物、影子或一闪而过的想法、感觉的轻盈快速移动。主要用于过去式（'flitted'）。不要与“fluttered”（颤动、拍翅）混淆。

The butterfly flitted from flower to flower.
