Definition

Factoid 指的是一個小的信息片段，通常有趣或令人驚訝，但有時並不重要。也可指因被反覆傳播而被當作事實的說法，即使不是真的。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

“Factoid” 可用於有趣但瑣碎的小知識，也指廣泛流傳卻未必真實的說法。多見於非正式場合。如 "趣聞"、"冷知識"。不要和真正的“事實”混為一談。
