Definition

誰かや何かをグループや全体から外すことを表します。つまり、含まれていないことを示します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

リストや価格、例外を示すときに使われることが多いです。『including（含む）』と反対の意味。動詞では使いません。

Examples

All prices are excluding tax.

すべての価格は税金**を除いて**表示されています。

Five people came, excluding Tom.

トム**を除いて**、5人が来ました。

The museum is open daily, excluding Mondays.

美術館は毎日開館していますが、月曜日**を除いて**います。
