長いアームとバケットが付いた大型の機械で、工事現場などで土や重い物を掘ったり運んだりする時に使います。

この言葉は必ず機械を指し、人を指しません。建設や土木工事でよく使います。口語では「ユンボ」と呼ばれることもあります。
