墓誌銘是在墓碑或紀念碑上為紀念死者而寫的簡短文字。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

多用於書面或正式場合，口語很少見。常說'為...寫墓誌銘'。不要與“訃告”混淆。偶爾會用作比喻最後的致敬。
