Definition
El alero es el borde inferior del techo que normalmente sobresale de las paredes de un edificio para protegerlas de la lluvia.

'Eaves' siempre es plural y se utiliza normalmente en contextos arquitectónicos o para describir casas. Frases comunes: 'under the eaves', 'bird nests in the eaves'. No confundir con 'eve' (víspera/noche).
