表現出悲傷、失望，或低頭低眼的樣子。也用來形容感到氣餒或沒有希望的情緒。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

比“sad”更正式或文學化。常與“eyes”（眼睛）搭配，如“downcast eyes”。同時表示低頭的動作和沮喪的情緒。很少用來形容物品。
