ドーマーは、屋根の斜面から飛び出している窓で、主に屋根裏や上の階に光や空間をもたらすために使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

建築用語で、普通の窓や平らな屋根には使いません。「ドーマーウィンドウ」「ドーマーを増設する」などの言い方をします。
