Passado de 'dive': saltar de cabeça para a água ou descer rapidamente, geralmente com o corpo reto.

"Dived" é o passado de "dive" (mergulhou de cabeça). Em inglês americano, também se usa "dove". Usado com "into": 'dived into the river', 'dived into a problem'. Pode ser literal ou figurado. Não se confunde com "jumped".
