Definition

“Decayed” 指某物因細菌或自然過程隨著時間腐爛或損壞。常用來形容食物、牙齒、建築等已失去原有良好狀態的事物。

多用於形容物體遭動態受損，如“decayed wood”、“decayed teeth”。表示物理腐壞、分解，不用於人。常用於有機物、荒廢場所。有別於“spoiled”（食物變質）或“broken”（機器壞掉）。
