Definition

道路や線路の下を水が流れるように設置された管やトンネル状の構造物です。浸水を防ぐために使われます。

土木工事や建設でよく使われ、「下を通す」「設置する」などの表現とともに使います。「排水溝」や「下水道」とは異なる点に注意。
