كلمة 'countered' رسمية وتستخدم غالبًا في النقاشات أو الدفاعات ('countered the argument'). تعني معارضة نشطة وليست مجرد رد. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'responded' (ردّ/أجاب فقط).
