मक्के के स्टार्च से बना एक महीन सफेद पाउडर जो सूप, सॉस और मिठाइयों को गाढ़ा करने के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Cornstarch' का इस्तेमाल अमेरिका में प्रचलित है, वहीं ब्रिटेन में इसे 'cornflour' कहते हैं। इसे 'cornmeal' से न मिलाएं। खासतौर पर गाढ़ा करने के लिए या बेकिंग में यूज़ होता है।
