Definition
Descreve algo que resulta em um veredito de culpa, geralmente em um contexto legal. Também pode descrever um sentimento ou declaração que faz alguém se sentir culpado ou responsável por algo errado.

Normalmente formal e usado em contextos legais ('convicting evidence'), mas também pode descrever algo que causa culpa em alguém (especialmente em debates religiosos ou morais). Não confundir com 'convincing' (persuasivo).
